What he's saying is that just because it's not in the Constitution...............is no reason that American adults and children should be without affordable health care.

I agree.

Never have so many politicians, screwed so many Americans...just to make one black person lose his job.

How do you choose which ones to give the benefit of the doubt?

I like to take a man at his word. He says what he means and means what he says. No double talk, no having to decipher, interpret, etc.

If it is not in the Constitution it is left to the people or the states. It is not the Fed's job.

Other than providing basic health care to American citizens and their children...............I tend to agree with you.

I just think this issue is too great not to be addressed at the federal level.

I also would like to believe that if the Founding Fathers had an inkling as to what the medical situation would have been like, 300 years from when they gathered.............that they would have included it.

Just my position but, I am not..............and never will be............a "tough titty for you" when it comes to our citizens not having health care.

What about shelter? There are millions of people without homes, should the gov't mandate everyone buys a house? For those that can't afford or choose not to buy a house, should we subsidize them a house? How about food? Should the gov't mandate everyone buy food? For those who can't afford food we subsidize them with food?Cant live without food, should only gov't approved food be allowed to be purchased? How about self defense? There are millions of people that are defenseless. Should the gov't mandate that everyone buy a gun? If you can't afford a gun, one should be subsidized to you? What if you don't want a gun? What about water? Should we mandate that everyone buy water and it has to be gov't approved water? I mean you have to have water to live and use that healthcare. Should we subsidize water purchases too?

Entrepreneurs and their small enterprises are responsible for almost all the economic growth in the United States.

It's coming my friend, it's coming. Well, except for the defense part, they like us defenseless.

BTW - A lack of "food" was already addressed many, many, years ago.

Already have most of it:

- HUD's low in come housing programs

- Food stamps/WIC cards

- Defense = police (sorry, no government subsidized guns for non-military)

- Low income water assistance exists in most states, not yet a federal program

How was the lack of food addressed??? By private citizens and companies picking up what needs to be done.

How would you like to address the fines and jail time if you do not buy health insurance? So now you are being compelled to buy something, which is quite clearly against everything the constitution stands for.

Most of those programs are meant to be a hand up... But instead are used as a hand out for most, for there entire life's. Bull crap. Should be a 6 month to one year limit per 5 years on all those programs.
