Bill O-Reilly knows Jack about President Reagan

Tonight he made the comment that President Reagan was not a church man, nor a church believing man.

Give me a break Bill! Do your homework before you blab off at the mouth about a guy you apparently know squat about.

That isn't very close to what he actually said.

If only those who knew what they were talking about replied, this thread would still be on page one.

Re: Bill O-Reilly knows Jack about President Reagan

O'Reilly probably said something along these lines.

Here is the author of.... Ronald Reagan: Fate, Freedom, and the Making of History (Norton, 2007).

Reagan's carefree attitude toward religion reminds one of America's great master of mockery, H. L. Mencken...........

President Reagan almost never left the White House to go to church, and he seldom invited a chaplain in to give services (though he attended church occasionally upon leaving office). Reagan defended religion against those who sought to purge it from public life, but he hardly wished to see Americans submit themselves to an ecclesiastical establishment.

Never have so many politicians, screwed so many Americans...just to make one black person lose his job.
