Stimulus Money Well Spent

This is Beatty,Oregon population like 35 maybe. The put a ####ing sidewalk on the east bound lanes of Highway 140.Local guys or people who have driven through Beatty will get a good chuckle out of this one.

In Bly Population of maybe 500 they did both sides of the Highway through town with spots for what looks likes trees. Some kind of city beautification project.

I am not sure who funded these projects.Could have been NObama or could have been our wonderful state who currently ranks like 2nd or 3rd in unemployment. In Klamath county alone the Unemployment rate is 16%.I find it hard to believe they hired anyone local to do this project.#### the local police dept awarded they new station to be built by a construction company in bend. The local Community college awarded there bids to yet again Bend.I guess something to do with tax money must be awarded to the lowest bidder. What they don't take into account is the ####ers will do write ups on the projects half way through. Then threaten to sue if it is not paid cause certain things where not in the original bid.

So discuss or if someone else has a wonderful picture of how there town or state is stimulating the economy lets here it.

Hooker Creek did all of it in Beatty, Bly, and Lakeview. At least the sidewalks here look like they belong there.

Re: Stimulus Money Well Spent

Most of those projects are jokes. Went to grants pass to look at a job. Got out of the truck and was wondering where the sidewalks were that needed to be replaced. Well I found out I was standing on them. Made me sick. But I guess it gave a couple of guys a job.

How much did the turtle crossing in Florida cost? 3.4 million? So what if the turtles eat decaying matter to keep the lake clean! We are in a recession and instead of lowering taxes, creating jobs and giving small business a helping hand we let the G-D greenies tell obama how to spend the money!!!? It is high time to shut the greenies down. They are anti-muman and they are destructive to the economic well being of the country. Screw em!
My senior senator Tom Coburn keeps track with his pork report on his website.
