Take A Stand Against Cap and Trade

Cap and trade, bailout after bailout, as well as socialized medicine will be the death of the US economy. Take a stand Now before it's too late at Grassfire.org.
It will help! Sitting on our hands doing nothing is exactly what the left wants us to do.
If you live in a red state you best pay particular attention to this. They are targeting the red states and giving states like Califrornia a pass .

Send an email or a fax to your representatives personally. Thats nothing more than a money making scheme for the grassfire website.

Re: Take A Stand Against Cap and Trade

You can still sign the petition withjout contributing. I am not saying to donate just make phone call for God's sake ! This is serious sheit! Cap and Trade is the Worst proposal yet of all the idiotic ideas maobama has had this one takes the cake, and we knew it was coming. It is all just a matter of when.

House Speaker Pelosi: 202-225-4188

Majority Leader Steny Hoyer: 202-225-4131

Rep. Collin Peterson (Ag Committee Chair): 202-225-2165

Rep. Tim Holden (Ag Cmmtte Vice Chair): 202-225-5546

Phone calls work the best. Grassfire is a good organization just mainly cause they stay involved and keep me informed of what is going on. The Heritage Foundation is the best .
I contribute to them . I have not yet contributed to Grassfire just cause I am not sure how their money is spent.

Re: Take A Stand Against Cap and Trade

thanks "W" for posting this, its very important, this will effect almost everyones Electic bill/utility bills as well as tax us in many ways .... this is from grassfires web site, some phone numbers and talking points, i pass these along just as ideas, just to help if you "want" the help, again, only if you feel the need and if you want some talking points.

Make these phone calls. Call your Representative and key House leaders and tell themyou oppose the fast-tracking of this massive tax: Your Representative: Rep. Franks 202-225-4576 House Speaker Pelosi: 202-225-4188 Majority Leader Steny Hoyer: 202-225-4131 Rep. Collin Peterson (Ag Committee Chair): 202-225-2165 Rep. Tim Holden (Ag Cmmtte Vice Chair): 202-225-5546 Talking Points:
1. I am disappointed that Speaker Pelosi is pressing for afloor vote this week on the cap-and-trade Carbon Tax.
2. I oppose the cap-and-trade Carbon Tax. This is anoutrageous power grab by the federal government that willgreatly expand government control and increase energycosts for my family in Arizona.
3. This system of "allocations" has failed in Europe and willpoliticize America’s energy policy.
4. Especially in these difficult economic times, Congressmust not pass this tax on the American people!

The Carbon Tax is the lynchpin to the entire leftist, statistscheme. This is where they find new tax dollars to fund theirprograms. We can damage those plans with a strong stand against theCarbon Tax this week!

Franks is your rep? How do you like him?
I am not at all worreid about my rep or senators. I got Frank LUcas rep, and Tom Coburn sen senator and Inhofe jun senator.
Great guys!
Oklahoma has got it together on politics with the exception of our governor and then he is not that bad.
And I take that back on Grassfire contributions I did donate during the immigation fiasco. They do a lot of good we would be in deeper chit without people like them and the Heritage Foundation.
