Being attacked? VOMIT....

that's what the Illinois State Police recommend.

Sexual Assault - If You Are Confronted...

Quote:
Fighting for your safety may be necessary. However, if you start out fighting you cancel any other options that might be open to you. Since many attacks on women are not sexually motivated, and are designed to degrade and humiliate, talking your way out of it may be easier.
  • There is documentation of assailants that left a would-be-victim alone after she told him that she was pregnant and it would kill her baby. (Some case were women that were too old to even have a baby.)
  • Telling an attacker that you have VD or AIDS can discourage him.
  • It may sound disgusting, but putting your fingers into you throat and making yourself vomit usually gets results. (This method is not often used except as a last resort.)
  • Use your imagination and you can think of others.

The above methods are particularly important if your assailant has a gun or knife, or there is more than one attacker. (Fighting would probably be futile.)
I'd much rather put my trust in Glock as compared to vomit.

I'd keep my trust in Sig Sauer but Glock works to

95 F350 CCLB, 5 Speed, Valair Clutch, GlowSh!t Gauges, Swamps Tuning, Baby Swamps, 5" Diamond Eye., Custom E-Fuel,

08 F450, 5" Straight Pipe, Sct LiveWire

I would rather put my trust in my Sub-Compact XD than a Glock, but I think both would be more valuable than vomit.

Re: Being attacked? VOMIT....

Consider it last chance advise for someone that has no weapons, little strength, and is in a very secluded area.

It's well documented that fighting like hell is the best way to avoid being raped (assuming avoiding the situation altogether wasn't an option). Screaming and scratching as hard as you can makes it not worth the trouble to some. But not drinking and ending up in stupid situations is always a women's best defense.

I read a new statistic that said that 1/3 women are raped in their lives and 1/5 men are as well. I think this was a worldwide #. Pretty crazy, and very sad as well.

I'm officially...Stroke-less.

1 in 5 men huh. I imagine I'll always be part of the 4 for 2 reasons:

1) I carry
2) I'm too damn ugly
