This is the latest software to use but return your truck to stock before doing this

Why would I need to do that, if i dont could I still upload my files anyways ?

If you want to run the most current tunes I believe you need this for the tuner to work.

So only if I get new tunes, but if i keep my old tunes and only those i should have to worry correct.

what happens if i did not put it to stock when updated it

2003 f250 4dr, short box, gray metal flake paint with hand painted pin stripes, sct livewire tuned by elite, zodad, and 4 in to cat 6 in from cat.

1989 s10 primer gray 26psi supercharged 406, forged crank rods pistons, full roller valve train, Built trubo 350, 4link 7.5in 10bolt with 4.11. on 10.5 in of ruber. Runs 10.8 at milehigh

There should be a way to copy your stock file to your hard drive, so you have it someplace other than inside the Xcal.
