starting 6.4

just got done with over haul on 6.4 any easy way of starting it withought cranking forever and burning up the started? will a lil ether hurt?

ether is hard on the connecting rods as it fires way before its at the top of the stroke, but people do it.

Just use short crank burts maybe 5 sec, after a few times let the starter cool.
