Re: Kng Ranch seats

Ive gone through two bottles of King Ranch conditioner they sell for my 08 and the stuff works great. But you guys are right, these seats are THIRSTY. If you go more than a month or so they get really dry. I saw a guy the other day with an 07 KR that had never put anything on his seats and I wanted to cry they were so awful.

At some point, I want to upgrade my interior!!! Will probably go custom...

In either case, its best to go with what the manufacture (KR) recomends because it will be formulated to work with the chemicals used in the original tanning - sealing processes. Stay away from saddle soap and anything with silicone in it.

Using products not intended specificaly for these seats can result in pre-mature ware or something worse that might void any warranty. If you buy something used that wasn't taken care of properly or goof and trash your own seats, you might be able to get them profesionaly stripped, but I have no idea how much that would cost with so much leather.

I'll get off my soap box now. :)

I have wondered this too. I see some on e bay that are almost almond color and look like if they where near a fire the might just go up in flames. I assume there is no hope for any seats this dry?
