What to use to clean carpet after a spill of Power Service addative?

So I had a bottle of Power Service tip over last week, it had the cap on but still leaked out onto the carpet and I just went to jum in the truck and realized this and the stench is gonna drive me nuts. What should I use to clean it up?

Im not sure what cleaner would work best, though your best bet might be to bring it to a detailer that has an extractor.

You might want to try to saturate it a bit with warm soapy water or a carpet cleaner first with a stiff bristle brush, agitate it and then vacuum it out with a shop vac. Do that several times and see if it makes a difference.

I had some seriously nasty carpet in my Bronco when I bought it, I swear there was a little of every substance known to man on it. I used a Prestone auto carpet cleaner, layed it on super heavy and scrubbed the hell out of it,then vacuumed it up. I did that several times, then the final time I scrubbed with a cloth to get what the vacuum wouldn't suck up, and I was amazed at the results....I went into it thinking I was gonna have to trash the carpet, but wanted to try first, and it worked very well.

Good luck with getting the PS out, I knocked a hole in my bottle in my toolbox, soap water and a pressure washer and the smell is still there, i think the PS just gets absorbed to well, will be interested to see if there is a solution.

I like the way it smells. I had some spill in mine... But it was only a few drops. Still smells like it a little...

I took mine to a detailer after having a bottle of additive and a carton of chocolate milk crack open all over the backseat. That combo was the worst smell ever once the sun came out and turned the truck into a little oven.

I forgot a bottle of PS in my truck once, HOT day here in Florida, and it well expanded, and vented in my truck. It smelled like PS for about 2 weeks, then eventually wore away. I cleaned it with soapy water, and it knocked it down alittle.
