Can I clay bar, seal. I want to skip polish. Truck's been sitting since fall

I did clay bar, polish, then a sealer this past fall. The truck has sat in the driveway and I washed it today. It looks great, but does not fully bead water anymore. I want to reseal it. But, I am wondering if I should clay it first. Thanks.

I would just thoroughly wash it, and then wax it again. No need to clay bar and polish if the truck just sat all winter.
