Re: Tint Glue Removal HELP

I use either 3M Tar and Bug remover or Good old WD40, That 3M is Some Good stuff,Be careful with that Razor!!! Keep it new and Sharp and at a Good Angle.

If you have to remove anymore tint Try heating it up with a hair drier first!
If you can get one corner started sometimes it will come off Clean Glue and all!

I had my windows tinted not long ago and there was trash between the tint and window on two of them so 5 hours after the install I removed the tint,i got one corner started and Pulled it real easy and it came off Clean....

I Know if yours has been on there for a while if will be different ,But if you heat it up first with the Hair drier You may get Lucky :~)

Good luck!

Ammonia and a stainless razor blade, it will last longer trust me. I have tinted windows for over 10 years now, you can't beat that combo. Only exception would be rear windows with defrost lines, those require a little more skill.

2000 EX, fuel, air, and heat.

Straight ammonia? I believe you that it works, but I don't think I could handle the smell of it. Especially in close quarters like the inside of a vehicle.
