How do I get rid of smoke smell?

This was actually my daughters. Vehicle's previous owner was a smoker, and come to find out...she was smoking too. One of the many reasons she doesnt have it any more lol.

Anyway, when I got it I pulled the entire interior out, pressure washed the carpet, and cleaned the seats the best could. Still smells like smoke. What can I do to get rid of the smoke smell?

What i used before was baking soda in a contanier and let it sit in the truck and that seemed to help eliminate the smell

Don't forget the headliner, I had to replace one to get rid of the smell once.

Re: How do I get rid of smoke smell?

I would use them all. Carpet fresh, freebreeze, baking soda, charcol, anything and everything. Even try those little hanging deoderizing pine trees. If that doesn't work, decide how bad you want the truck, then either have a professional clean it or sell it.

Last but not least, since the truck looks sweet, I would drive with the windows down.

Re: How do I get rid of smoke smell?

Pep Boys has a fresh air vent spray for the smoke smell. Turn the air on to outside air and spray it between the windshield and hood. Seems to work well, used it on my reg cab after I bought it.

get some odor bombs for a car wash place. theyre made for houses, so uses them sparingly. my friend chain smoked in his truck on a 2.5 hour trip, windows up AC on re-circulate. odor bombed it a couple days later and you never would have known he smoked.
