Aluminum wheels where to go from here?

I was detailing my 2007 truck today and making my King Ranch all shiney did all the clay bar and waxed it, polished the windows and got all the scratches out, applied rain-x to mirrors and windows all was going awesome until i got to my wheels, i have the factory king ranch wheels and love them. i noticed the clear coat is starting to peel in a couple spots, and there were a couple scratches just in the clear coat. what should i do? should i strip the clear coat off and polish them or find some place thatll refinish them?

i got my clearcoat stripped and wheels polished. the guy that did it said if you reclearcoat them it wont be long till they start peeling again. im happy with the clearcoat off, they shine more. but they are not the same wheels.

strip the clear off and polish...use 320 grit sand paper to get the clear off then go over it with 400..after that use a cutting wheel to get them looking like chrome. after that it is just maintnence
