Re: washing my motor?

Well if you are one of the lucky ones then you can wash it all you want and everything will work great.

My stepdad keeps his vehicles so clean under the hood you could eat off the motors. Looks show room new always.

If you have the luck I do? Wash it and have nightmares from then on, forever.

Every car I let my stepdad talk me into washing the motor on never ran right again. Always had some electrical issue. I DONT wash motors anymore, ever.

Re: washing my motor?

Hate telling someone not to wash the motor since they sure look good clean and its nice working on a clean engine. But with my past experience theres no way in hell Im washing mine. I do clean stuff off under the hood with rags from time to time but thats all.

Re: washing my motor?

I've washed mine several times. I just stay away from my cold air intake to be on the safe side. Never had a bit of problems, just my 2 cents

I just pressure wash it from a distance...as long as you don't get in there and blow sh!t out of it you'll be fine..But you can also check out that link I posted, I haven't tried it yet but I will soon.

Re: washing my motor?

I only washed mine one time and thats when I blew an o-ring in the oil line and I had no problems! But my dad washed his out one time and his didnt start for a week! So your talking about hit or miss! I would only do it if your motor realy needs it! But thats my to cents
