Re: Painting Interior Trim Pieces

I used Krylon fusion....
https://powerstrokenation.com/forums/...ad.php?t=20142

It works AWESOME! I just made sure there was no dressing, wax, or anything like that by wiping with some degreaser and alcohol... Then sprayed it in a few light coats... My wife puts her feet on the airbag cover and I've had the dash on and off a bunch... NEVER cracked, chipped or ANYTHING. I love it... now if someone would just give me some feedback on what else they would paint...

Re: Painting Interior Trim Pieces

I painted my gauge pod with the proper color paint in a spray can...from your friendly ford dealer. Note which color you need (generally the interior has two colors), stop by the parts counter at your dealer and ask for it...about 15 bux, as I recall.

Re: Painting Interior Trim Pieces

BTW. I left the texture, but I have no doubt that if you sanded it all smooth and painted it would work just as well!

Re: Painting Interior Trim Pieces

Thanks man! I might try smoothing my doors when I do them...
But yeah... Light scuff with a real fine grit, make sure they're clean and be patient and do light coats! I've read a lot of reviews and you really can't hurt this stuff!

What color you going with?
