DIY Pinch Weld Covers

(2) 1-1/2" x 1/8" x 96" aluminum flat stock from Home Depot @ $21.89
(8) 10/24 Button Head Allen bolts (had)
(8) 10/24 Nylon insert lock nuts (had)
(8) #10 washers (had)
(1) Semi Gloss Back rattle can @ $4.95

Total length 89-3/8"








As compared to http://www.deaknbuilt.com/pinchweldcovers.asp for $149 and up.

I'm painting them now. I'll post more pictures tomorrow and try to get the truck into the sunlight.

I was about to make my own too but glad you posted this with all the measurements. Thanks! Why did you paint them black and not white to macth the truck? Looks good by the way
