black

is it truue that black is not clear coated?what can i do to keep it looking non spotty

I have to wash my towards evening when its cool outside so i dont get spots. Or in the winter, when its cold so it wont dry as fast and i can get it completely dry.

Meguires(sp?) Cleaner Wax. Just got done with mine last night. It will remove water spots and other minor crap. Shoulder sure does hurt though.

depending on the year most blacks are base coat clear. Some pre 94 are single stage. No clear. Easy way to tell is to use a white rag with a cleaner polish and see if it pulls alittle black color on it. No black then its clear coated. As for wax and polishes. Try to find a automotive paint jobber ( paint store that sells car paint) they normaly carry a large line of products 3m makes realy good stuff compared to stuff you by a the parts places.most of the time the salespeople will help you out very well with what you need. IMOP have it painted hi hide white. Black is beutiful. But only for about 3 miles then its dirty again. Good luck
