My clear coat/paint is peeling!!!!!!

The clear coat/paint on my hood, right side pillar and door started flaking up really bad. Is there a way for me to respray small areas and still have the rest of the truck match?

You can always do the duplacolor from your parts store to touch it up.

2000 XLT 4x4 LBCC 6 speed BHAF mod DI chip. 4inch exhaust and gauges.

not sure what year your truck is (fill in your sig), but on my 96 I was told by every body shop I went to, that it has to be stripped to bare metal and redone, mine was just like you described, hood, top of passenger fender and pillar.
