Matte black? Clean with grease off, hand scrub with a soft sponge, hose off, wipe it dry with a terry cloth. Spray tire shine on a terry cloth, wipe down stack. I dont think the heat will effect it.

Key is to make sure you spray on the rag, or else its a PITA to wipe the window clean again.

Tire shine applicator(soft sponge) works good with back to black or tire shine. Stainless steel cleaner works good too.

Re: Dull looking mbrp stack

sand it down and paint it gloss black that would look nice with ur new wheels, I always wanted to do that when I had my 8" Mbrp stack.

I put back to black on it and it is pretty glossy now I am happy how it turned out.
