Ford has announced that the 2018 F-150 has best-in-class payload, towing, and gas mileage.
The new pickup powered by the second-generation 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine gets an EPA-estimated 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway for a 22-mpg combined rating, making it best-in-class for fuel economy. Gas mileage is boosted thanks to the segment-exclusive SelectShift 10-speed automatic transmission.
The 3.5-liter EcoBoost model has best-in-class towing at 13,200 pounds, while the 5.0-liter V8 model features best-in-class payload capacity at 3,270 lbs.
