What's the better bang for the buck ...have been looking by time you put 3 gauges in the truck you can put a dig display

Isspro EV2. Why would you want to cheap out on gauges?

Its a matter of personnel preference. I prefer my insight CTS because of the ability to monitor things such as IPR, pulsewidth, and back pressure when ever I want. But don't be fooled by the intro price of a digital monitor. By the time you add in the extra sensors required your over 700$. A digital monitor is also not as reliable as a set of isspro gauges. Like I said personel preference.

I have run both analog and digital gauges. I am currently running a digital gauge and would not even think of going back to analog. Analog gauges are extremely limited and serve only the purpose of watching 1 parameter. Most digital gauges will watch at least 20 different parameters and read/clear codes.

A unit like our Infinity has the ability to watch hundreds of parameters, read/clear codes, datalog, run diagnostic tests, tune, play media, and more.

I prefer gauges over an all in one display. All in one's are easy to steal, easy to break, rely on the PCM for there communication and are harder to read at a glance.

I don't even have to read my gauges to know where they are at. Just out of the corner of my eye I can tell what EGT's, Trans and other temps or pressures are.

There is a reason why even airplanes still use an analog display.

No Glow Shift gauges.......ISSO only.

One more point on digital gauges. And this is not to start an arguement, just one of the reasons I prefer them. You don't have to watch your gauges constantly if you set your alarms properly. Couple of weeks ago was pulling a decent load in heavy traffic in a construction zone with a decent grade. Was paying attention to traffic and nothing else. Alarm for pyro went off to and let me know I needed to btfo. If I'd had gauges instead I don't know if I'd had noticed. (Pretty hairy situation.)

Haha I shouldn't either. Expect when I forget to take it out of race tune lol.
Didn't know that you could set alarms on the isspros. Good deal.

I have absolutely no experience with the Isspro gauges and I understand they are very good quality.I prefer Autometers myself.Have them in all my cars and never 1 problem.I am old school and once I have a product I like,I stick with them. I did some research on the Isspro's when I was looking at gauges, and can say I like the appearance of them..

Mine are the ev1's, but with the factory match and the pyro up top they are pretty eye level and I can see if the needle creeps into the red.

I prefer my gauges. My dad has a h&s mini maxx in his gmc. Its to hard to watch when I drive. And we both also use escort passport radar detectors. So watching them and a digital gauge is a bit much.

Isso has been making gauges for I believe 40-50 years. Most semi and heavy equipment gauges are made by ISSO. THEY ARE THE BEST........

I had Autometer SCII boost and pyro gauges in my old truck. They were okay but I personally found the A-pillar mounted gauges a bit distracting at night.

With my current rig, I decided to start with a digital pyro. I mounted it in the dash next to the radio just to see if I liked it. No complaints after 6 months.

This is the gauge I went with:
Automobile Multimeter for EGT, Boost, Green [SYL-1813G] - $57.50 : auberins.com, Temperature control solutions for home and industry

Spot on with my IR thermometer and it seems to have a quicker response time than my old Autometers did. It has a programmable alarm (buzzer can be added) and readout of 3 different parameters.

As far as visibility, I haven't ever found myself straining to read it nor taking more than a glance to check it despite what I've heard from other guys.

Ultimately its up to you, but I figured I'd throw in a wildcard with my recommendation. Keep in mind, I don't run anything real crazy in my rig like some of these other guys though. That may be be a factor if you are going that route.
