Difference between ZF5 and ZF6 adapter plate?

I currently have a 12v cummins to ZF5 adapter plate. I want to swap in a ZF6... What is the difference between these 2 plates?

Or when it comes to an OBS 6 speed swap, what's the difference in mounting a ZF6 behind an obs where a ZF5 lived before? In theory same question

On the 7.3 the difference is the ZF5 uses the same adapter as the automatic which is over 1" thick. The ZF6 uses a thin adapter about 1/4" thick.
