IDI to Powerstroke

Hello, this is my first post here. I have done some searching around but didn't find exactly what I was looking for yet. I hope I am not duplicating an existing topic.

I am the 2nd owner of a mint condition 1990 F250 with a ZF5 and a non turbo 7.3idi. I just picked up a 1994.5, 7.3 Powerstroke ZF5 F350 complete running donor truck. I am not too worried about the swap other than a couple questions on wiring, I would love to keep my original dash, is there a way to make the IDI tachometer read correctly from the Powerstroke harness? If not, is there an aftermarket tach that I could use?

Re: IDI to Powerstroke

Are you wanting to keep the whole dash or just the outer shell(the part you see)?
