Thought These Were Pretty Cool, Detroit Diesels



The Chevy rips, think its pretty damn cool but that Ford needs a different tranny in it and it would be mean.

My dad has a rough cut sawmill thats powered by a 471 2 stroke detroit. Its HUGE but i always thought about putting it in something

They are fun engines. I would like to wedge a 6v 71 in a old ford.

96 with 320,000, Idm mod,
Tc mod, van turbo, 200/30 rosewood,
T 500 hpop, Dy 3" down pipe,
glowshift gauges, D60kp swap, custom track arms,
steering wheel swap, 6637 mod, Hydra chip, WW2,
calf fuel spring and BB mod
6.0 fan, cooler,
Pmf 2.25 rsk sd springs

78 f-150 turbo big block

I had a teacher in tech school that had a 8v 92 with 850hp under load you could see a flame on the exhaust side of the turbo. I like the lope that the 2 stroke detroit has.
