Anybody running the ford a/c compressor on a 12v conversion?

Seems like a simple modification to the cummins bracket and I can run the Ford compressor. Would save some time making new lines and I wouldn't need to purge and recharge the system.

I have seen several done that way or mock up a completely new bracket. But If your planning on it for the truck you got from me the ac has been bled off.

Yep. I realized it had been bled off. Just wanted to know for some of the others I'm doing. I like the idea of keeping the factory lines and pump though since the pumps are usually newer than the dodge ones on the 12valve motors I use.

I searched. Couldnt find anything.
Getting the blocks, heads and cranks back from the machine shop next week. Then reassemble the motors and start putting trucks back together. Your old truck is second in the que.

Most industrial 5.9's i have been around, run their compressor's off the corner of the head by the inj pump.. When i did the conversion on my Gmc, i used this location to mount the factory gm compressor[built my own mount].. I simply stacked a suitable pulley on top of the original 5.9's fan pulley to drive the compressor. Been working flawless for 4 years now..

I just made a bracket that adapted the ford pump to bolt where the dodge one came from the factory.

Thanks for the input.
