Intercooler MPG

If I add an intercooler to my OBS, will I see a increase or decrease in MPG? I'd like to hear some real experiences please!

Re: Intercooler MPG

So you don't think it'll go down?

Re: Intercooler MPG

Probably stay the same. For me it went up cause I wasn't stepping on it all the time to hear the turbo.

Re: Intercooler MPG

It will not help in the HP end of things..just lower EGT so you can stay on the throttle longer..

They do lower EGTs though.. That is a BIG plus

Re: Intercooler MPG

you might see better towing mileage...
but lower EGT's means lower cylinder temps means a longer lasting engine.
So cost of driving does come down...
