Anybody Interested In A Nice-Looking Version Of My Top?

I know of a guy starting a business making a nice, professional-looking version of my “fastback” bed cover. Right now he is working on them for F-150s and Toyotas. One would suppose he could also make them for Super Duties.

Here’s some pictures of prototypes. Not Photoshop.

He’s just starting up so I have no price/delivery info.

Can you post the photos directly, we can't see them without joining that site.

Hey Dave do you personally know the guy? I would be willing to help him do a prototype and test it on a Super duty long bed. I was about to do that this summer but if he has the tooling it would be a lot easier.

Ha!

I've been trying to get him to do one for short bed.

If there is some interest, though, this might be doable.

So far, he's concentrating on the half-ton market, mostly F150 and toyota. But the Toyota site hooted him off. Super Duty guys are smarter.

Thats coooool!! I like that you can lift it up and have it full size if you want. I'd finish it out and stick my dogs back there.

Re: Anybody Interested In A Nice-Looking Version Of My Top?

I've dreamed of something like this for years.

But I want it on tracks so I can slide it up right to the back of the cab anytime I need to.

And it needs to have a clear plastic (but tinted) strip of see-thru plastic that I can see thru.

Re: Anybody Interested In A Nice-Looking Version Of My Top?

I can live without the rear view visibility. I rarely use my rear view mirror anyways, especially with my trailer on.

I read the threads over there, is there any update or any chance this thing will see production?
