6.0 mpg with different programmers

I currently have an Edge evolution programmer on the "extreme" tune or whatever it calls it....and my odometer shows 14.6 mpg....but the thing is, it shows 14.6 when I'm cruising through town...and 14.6 when I'm going down i40....is it normal that they would stay the same?

Also, my x3 with IDP tunes should be here pretty soon. What kind of mileage should I expect with them? Assuming that I leave the lead foot at home.

The only mods I have other than the evo are an intake filter, and straight pipe exhaust.

Yup, sounds about right. Big tires+ generic tunes+ heavy foot= 12-13 mpg.
