550 mile to the tank of gas

Ok so I just did a lil full tank of gas to miles test it's a 2000 f250 4x4 extended cab bone stock i did this test last week and I got 550 miles to my 38gal tank and just yesterday I put my intake and 4" turbo back exhaust still waiting on my ts chip from php. So that means I got an average of 14mpg's which I think sucks ass so I hope now I'll get a lil more I did about 270 miles on the highway and the rest on the streets Let's see what happens

Re: 550 mile to the tank of gas

I got 620mi/1050km out of a tank on the way to BTS in the spring. Best I ever got. Running the Dp 80E tune the whole way and cruise control was on for most of it. Mine is a short box so it is a 29 Gal tank. You should be getting better than that stock.

Re: 550 mile to the tank of gas

I got 635 out of tank in my 7.3 on the way to TS 08

620 out of a tank in my 6.0 on the way to TS 09. Was a little harder on the gas after the storm and the fog to make up time.

Both were 29 gallon tanks filled to about 33.5 gallons

Re: 550 mile to the tank of gas

You should be seeing more. My father's excursion gets a shade over 610, completely stock.

Re: 550 mile to the tank of gas

What the hell... I never really thought about it but I can barely manage 400 miles out of my 38 gallon tank. I've got to have some kind of other issue, I'm pretty sure my wheel bearings are on there last legs but dam I'm doing way worse then you guys...
