Do you mean Powerstroke or everything else? I know some of the high HP Cummins can still get 20mpg+ if your easy on em.

Re: 500 hp mpg

Lets just say 450-500hp range so we don't start an argument about what or who has 500 hp. PowerstrokeRacer is it the hybrids or the standard BD's getting you that kind of mileage? I have read on many forums that single shot B codes have consistently gained 2-3 mpg over stock split shots is this the consenus of you all with this setup?

My mpg is with MM's tuned very conservatively. You will generally gain mileage with single shots, now Amanda's truck on the other hand is lucky to get 12 in town and 16 on the hi way, you find that you have to constantly police yourself with that much power on tap. The mere act of thinking to accelerate will subconsciously move your foot enough to reach the thought about speed.

Re: 500 hp mpg

David, what body style are you getting the high mpg's? Is it the race truck or another late model CC? I've got an 02' CC, 4X4, short bed and if I could get the mileage you've quoted I might have to seriously consider upgrading the injectors along with some other engine internals to keep the engine in one piece.

The numbers quoted are on my 2000 CC LB 2 wheel drive F350 tow truck with MM's and a Garrett ball bearing turbo.
The wifes truck is an 02 F250 CC SB 2 wheel drive with modified b codes and K31 turbo.
