MPG

Ive got edge evo and pulling 13000lbs getting 8.5MPG on some what flat terain.WHAT ARE YOU GUYS GETTING?

Prior to injectors and new tunes, I would average 10 MPG pulling a 10,000 LB travel trailer on mostly flat ground. Have not pulled with the new mods.

a couple of months ago i pulled 15k lb trailers with 37s on my truck and got about 18 to 20mpg

a couple of months ago i pulled 15k lb trailers with 37s on my truck and got about 18 to 20mpg. I call BS on this one. You would be lucky to 18mpg empty.
Last load I hauled combined weight 29,400lbs. I averaged right at 8mpg on my 300 mile + trip. Unfurtunatly there was not much flat ground.

I'm kinda curious. The old Ford diesel site is overrun with posts like these.

What is it that that makes a guy wanna brag about mediocre MPG?

I must have missed the memo.

Beleave me im not braging this seams 8.5 mpg is low to me.i was getting 10 to 11 with out the edge. just seeing what to expect. no reason to get the tape measure out.I dont have enough money to compete i apreciate the imput guys.

Empty, flat ground and 55mph I can squeeze 21mpg out mine.

From san diego to Glamis pulling 7750lb trailer fully loaded bed I averaged 12.2 MPG round trip going the "back" way.
Pulling 6000lb trailer from san diego to Buttercup I averaged 9.6 MPG. Those hills really eat the fuel. Even keeping it at 45 on the long climbs

I also call BS on this. To even remotely get close you need a 4% desent from start to finish. Oh and do not think the overhead display is ever correct
