Aerodynamics

Hey Dave have you done coast down test to determine you coefficient of drag? I was just currious what it would be. I believe stock is around .44 or so... is that right?

Re: Aerodynamics

I haven't done a coast-down because I don't think they are all that accurate.

I keep promising myself that when I get my aero mods done I'll treat myself to a trip to a real wind tunnel. I wish I could get done, but I had some ticker trouble and my meds make me lazy.

Re: Aerodynamics

Well good luck with the ticker (I hear does are kind of important...). I might try to do one with the stock truck

Re: Aerodynamics

A Cd of 0.44 to 0.48 sounds plausible.

I know a couple guys that blow 10,000 bucks every thursday at a wind tunnel in the south florida area... How much is that wind tunnel worth to you?
