Two stroke oil and MPG

I tried a search but couldn't find anything. I have read on hear of people adding two stroke oil to fuel to help the MPG. It dosen't seem like it would cost effective but have you guys done this??

Thanks

i also use some filtered used motor oil from time to time.. dont know if it has improved my mpg, but it does lubricate and quiet the motor down some..

Re: Two stroke oil and MPG

I used to run used transmisson fluid and oil but I had problems with it due to my injectors being woar out and not flowing right. Now since the new injectors I am running pennsoil they had it at sams club for 7.25 a gallon so I bought 16 gallons . It makes the engine alot quiter and gets more mpg's.
