Govern for Economy?

Has anyone out there ever considered setting up a Governor to stay under the Magical 70MPH point to maintain Fuel Economy? Can a custom SCT tune be set up to limit speed to 70Mph? I often find myself creeping up to 80 Miles per hour while towing my Off-shore boat. Probably kills my fuel economy.

Oh, I don't have cruise control besides my Right foot.

Re: Govern for Economy?

Governors are common in big commercial fleets.

I'm sure aftermarket governors or cruise controls are available.

Just add money.

fwiw, companies with strict motor vehicle policies put systems in their trucks that announce to the driver that they are over the company speed limit lol! then said systems record who is driving as to keep them from getting a promotion latter on lol
