Re: mpg's

If you're not in it all the time, you could do 17-18.
the edge will allow alot more fuel, so cautious driving requires more caution.
With alot of learning about how to drive for more economy, I could see you getting 22-24. Six speeds are saweet for that.

84 Honda Sabre V65 1100: pipes, jet kit and new tires. Faster than I think I'll ever need.

Not with 6 inch lift and probably 36 or 37 inch tires.

Re: mpg's

I would say anywhere around 16-18 with the six speed, its nice for fuel mileage. Just shift before 2k rpms even before 1900, and don't let any of the coal roll from your exhaust.

Re: mpg's

I'm gonna go ahead and sneak in here and ask a question...

The truck in my sig gets like 15.7mpg ALL THE TIME (HWY or city driving)

I don't think i have ever seen 18MPG what could be some reasons for low MPG?

I have had new air filter, fuel filter, cleaned Exhaust backpressure sensor....

Re: mpg's

Leak in the up pipes, and boost leaks are the most common and easiest to check

Re: mpg's

I have an 02 six speed with 3.73 rear and just x-springs. I get 19-19.5 at 70 mph on the highway. That is with driving very cautiously for mpg. I also have a cap with a slight bump. So I would think the estimates of 15-16 are probably accurate.

Re: mpg's

I used to have a 2000 2wd with the 6 speed, and I got 20-21 consistently, unless I was towing. Had intake, magnaflow muff, and superchips programmer. I know you are a 4x4 with lift/tires, but gives you something to go off of.
