remove 3" lift or keep it?

I bought my 7.3 p/s with a 3" lift/big tires ect. Lately I have been doing a lot of pulling my car on a trailer out of town since they closed our track. What kinda mileage increase would I be looking at if I ditched the lift and went back to stock wheels/tires? Right now i'm getting about 11-12mpg pulling @ 80ish
