10 mpg on 6.4l

Hello my dads truck is a 2008 Ford F-350 6.4l Powerstoke Turbo diesel and it has a 6' Pro Comp CS9000 lift kit and Michnaline stock tire size michelin X-ICE snow tires.
We are getting around 10 mpg with this rig.. what are some things we can do to dramaditcly increase the mpg for this truck. thanks

Simple things like a intake tuners and a DPF delete exhaust are the easiest way to get better mpg. Ha you could take the rig down to stock size and might pick up a little there too. But the DPF delete was what i seen as the biggest gain.

I'd suggest reading the six "stickies" on this forum. they cover a lot of accumulated wisdom from literally hundreds of guys on what works and what doesn't.

DPF delete can't hurt and getting back to factory-sized rubber and losing the lift are big factors.

10 MPG is disgraceful.

Get rid of the lift for one. The words mileage and lift should never be in the same sentence. Getting rid of the dpf is the biggest mileage booster. Running a quality tuner and/or custom tunes help with mpg's.
