Picked up something yesterday.

Found out Sunday that the group that puts on the 4th of July celebration in our town had some veg oil to dispose of from frying chickens on the 4th. Called the guy and he said to come get it. I went and picked up 20 cubies of oil. Guessing around 4 gal or so in each. Now I just have to set up a filtering apparatus and maybe a SVO system and I'm good to go.

Re: Picked up something yesterday.

I do that the day after our local county fair. Drive around and pick up all the cubes left laying around.
I dump them into a couple drums and let settle over the winter, by spring, when temps warm up it's ready to burn.
No need to waste electricity or other energy or fancy filters or dewatering set-ups.
"Let Settle" is easiest, most environ friendly process.
I have 3 cubes (from another source) sitting in the sun now, for about a month and a half, should just about be ready to be pumped out and burned.
(NOTE: If doing this, do NOT pour our, must be pumped such that you leave the crap/water at the bottom of the jug/cube/drum.)
