Fuel Economy

My Fiance's dad drove my 99 F250 From San Antonio to Hinesville GA this past week towing a stock trailer with all of our household goods to our new our new house there. Driving at 70 the entire way, and with a load the weighed in excess of 10,000 lbs my truck averaged out at 17.35 MPG. keep in mind that it isnt tuned, and the only true mods are Exaust and intake. My fiance drove behind the truck and her honda averaged just above 50 MPG. I think this goes to show, with a little maintainance and care even a big arsed truck can be fuel friendly. The trip was over a thousand miles and we spent less than $750 on all the fuel for both vehichles.

Re: Fuel Economy

Cool hard to beat a single cab 2wd for a MPG grabber, the 6pd helps out too!
