fuel mileage

I'm confused I have a stock '02 E-350 suoerduty cube and I get 15 MPG. It's a box on wheels! The reason for the post is with the price of fuel I was considering buying an '05 F-350 crew 4x4 but after reading some of the posts it seems pointless I'd get the same MPG. If I bought this truck I would install a chip(Edge) cold air intake and a hi-flo muffler. Any input would be appreciated.

Re: fuel mileage

I would mod the #### out of the cube. Then you could smoke anyone and still get 15mpg.

Re: fuel mileage

Chop the roof on the back and make it a slope... Drop the suspencion about 6 inches. Maybe while chopping the rear chop the front too to just get you a van with less frontal area... Get some skinnies on the front ... Eventually you might be able to make it a Super Fuel efficient van that can be a drag van... Slicks on the back, traction bars and you are set... Maybe drop some weight while at it...
