zf-5 need questions answered

ok would a zf5 out of a 460 work in a diesel? what are the differences? what is need if it will work?

97' f350 with tymar intake, glow shift gauges trans, pyro,60psi boost. may the list go on and on

no it wont

im pretty sure the bolt pattern is different someone correct me if im wrong.. but i know it doesnt work

The ratios are a bit different, but the real problem is that the bolt pattern is different and it won't bolt up.

what about if i just take the tail housing and transfer case from a zf-5 in a 460 will it bolt onto th zf-5 2wd out of a diesel
