Question about shift knob

So we bought a custom made shift knob but we can't figure out how to remove the stock one. Its a 6 speed manual also. Can someone on here please help??? thx

It should just pull off. I know the one on my ZF5 does...

I took mine off with some big ass channel locks. Probably not the best route but it worked.

Yeah, I didn't fid a set screw of any kind like the new one had, so, I clamped down, gave it a twist or two while pulling up. It came off clean and the new one went on fine.
