What lube to run in a ZF?

Whats a good lube to run in a zf tranny?

L99 SCSB 7.3 4x4 AEM intake, 5" straight pipe, 6pos Gearhead chip, Autometer gauges, Firestone bags, ATD Built tranny, Smoked lights, 15% tint, WW, Mr. Bobs boots & hoses, Leveled, Moto Metals
'02 F-250 RCLB 5.4 XL Plow truck
05 F-250 SCSB 6.0 XLT Plow truck

I just run regular old ATF, I gues you could switch to synthetic ATF

It calls for synthetic Mercon. I think I put in Royal Purple Synchromax.

I have the ZF6, not sure if that calls for different oil than the ZF5, but i put mobile 1 synthetic ATF in it and it shifts a little smoother. Had royal purple in it before that.

DFA-regulated return, pre-pump mods, Isspro boost and pyro, scan gauge, ~420hp and 836tq

Stroker2 did you flush out your tranny cooler when you changed to the syn?
Or just drain and fill?

I just drained and filled. I was trying to find out what the process was to flushing the cooler but was unable to find it. Also, the guy that had it before me said he had royal purple in it. But i switched to mobile 1 and still noticed a difference.

The oil that came out of it was still pretty red looking also so it wasn't real dirty whien i switched oils.
