Replacing TC -I'd appreciate some tips

Howdy all,

I recently ordered a Revmax low stall torque converter to replace my old one which I toasted pretty well–thankfully no metal shavings in pan (except a tiny bit of brass but not enough to worry about).

What's gonna be my process for replacing the Torque Converter?
And can I reuse the tc-flexplate bolts?

Thanks!

When installing the converter stand the trans on end. Put the converter on the shaft and spin it. It needs to drop in far enough that it is inside the front of the bellhousing. Don't reuse the flexplate nuts.

agreed get new bolts

and I can't reiterate enough to make sure the TC stays seated if it sneaks forward and you bolt it altogether bad things/will can happen

and if doing this yourself get a remote start switch so you can bump over to the next bolt
