'00 6 speed.. clicking noise when slowing down

I have a 2000 6 speed, when Im either downshifting, or just slowing down for a turn, there is a clicking noise, that sounds like its right under the cab. As soon as I push in the clutch it goes away.. Anyone have ideas, or have this problem? Thanks in advance.

Maybe your throwout bearing, or pilot bearing.
I've got a similar issue right now, I'm going to replace the clutch and bearings in the spring.

x2 my guess would be throwout bearing.

Eventually it could trash the rest of your bearings if the vibration gets worse. It's like a wheel out of balance, does wonders for your wheel bearings if its bad enough.

Is this a vibration/tap that can be felt in the floor right under your feet? Does it get worse when accelerating? Goes away when clutch pushed in?

The Ford pilot bearing is famous for going out and wrecking the input shaft on these transmissions. I'd stop driving it until you get it figured out.

Its a zoom clutch with new pilot and throw out bearings like 15000 miles ago.
