Help

Installed new to me tyranny. Code p0720 comes up. New vss installed. Still. Removed harness from computer and tranny. Stripped harnes down. Nothing to find. Ohm test. All good. At a loss boys. What next. I do have a spare computer

That's not an a-ford code... I is an OBDII code Output speed Circuit. We aren't mind reader.. What Tranny? What year... More info need for our professionals.. I'm Not One.

The code is saying no signal from vss to ecm. All checks out. Lost

Yes,, That may help you get a response from some of the smart guys on here... All I can say check the sensor, wires and connections. These Damn Electronic Diesels are way too fussy... I'm old school, with a stinger in the fuel pump. Ya, I'm an old guy!

No ideas guys? Swapping out computer now. Another question is the sensor on the diff. Does it have anything to do with tranny and shifting??

I'm not sure. Maybe mark will stop by.

I believe the one in the rear end does affect it.

01 f-250, Standard
Rev tech 4" lift, 37" military wrangler Mt tires
KC diy 66, Full force 160/100 and custom tunes from PHP
Banks intercooler and full 4" exhaust, Diy S&B intake
Diy quad feed, Hydra, Isspro boost, pyro, and fuel pressure
3/0 battery cables with military style terminals

1979 chevy c30 dually, sm465, 373's? Converted to 6.2 diesel, pump turned up and advanced a hair.(wrecked)
1994 ford F350 dually 4X4: 7.3 powerstroke, 5 speed. 6637, straight pipe into dual stacks. Cooper discoverer at/3's.
2010 Jetta TDI 40 or so mpg :flippa:
