I have been noticeing that at 3/4 - full throttle my truck wont stay in lockup with the o/d off, or on for that matter. I have a spec-rite tc in it. Can it be fixed with tuning? I have a 6 pos chip. Should I also upgrade the vb?
I dont have money falling out of my @ss so dont tell me to go out and buy a 5000 dollar tranny from BTS or JW! If I did have the money I would have already got one!

Lol was waitin for a comment like that. I talked to David at Swamps they have 2 other guys having the same problem. Its cuz of the tire size. Other than that I love the power, the sound and the smoke I have.
Im going to order that turbo next month. Been lookin to upgrade the valve body too. like a JW or BTS. Get my shifts better so I can really trash that converter. The guy at Spec-Rite said my tc is is good to about 800lbs of torque. If is gives up i can send it in and have it redone and beefed up some more.
