Hard shifting E4OD

Ok so I thought it was normal because I know a fresh trans is supposed to shift a little hard with no load and smooth at high load, and boy mine does shift smooth at a high load. But at low load it's SLAMS into gears to the point where the truck shudders. If I keep my foot into the throttle it shifts like a wet dream. It was just rebuilt (about 200 miles on the fresh rebuild) and gone thru when I had it converted to 4x4, it doesn't make any noises and runs cool. I have a bigger trans cooler to install in the next few weeks as well.

Any ideas why it slams so hard? Truck has a ts6 with swamps tunes, baby swamps, intercooler, RSK with 5" lift and e fuel. Doesn't matter what tune it's in, I haven't tried with the chip removed to see if it's different.
