superior shift kit

well I finally got some money and I'm having my tranny guy rebuild my tired tranny.Gonna cost me $1200 for a complete rebuild with new everything and covertor and all Ford.He is a retired ford tranny guy and says he has built over 200 4r100's along. He said he uses superior shift kit parts because they are more involved then transgo and addresses a couple things they don't.Anyone else heard of that.I trust him just wondered if anyone else had heard that.

Re: superior shift kit

I would use a JW valve body instead. Built to your usage for about $225.00

Re: superior shift kit

Transgo, works well enough to hold up to over 1000hp in a BTS.

Re: superior shift kit

superior improved these "kits" for the diesels.they are the best.some companies just rebox superior stuff as thiers,on a side note shift kits are a generic term,it was started years ago then stuck with gill younger as "shift kits".technically younger owns the name/rithes to shift kit.superiors "kit" is called a "shift correction package" cause thats what it does corrects shifts.superior makes alot of quality parts.

Re: superior shift kit

Its not the kit as much as the person putting together the VB..BTS

We only carry the BEST parts and never compromise just to get a sale.

Dealer for: Full Force, Tymar, BTS, Icon, Pure Performance, TW tunes, just to name a few.
