m/t into an auto?

Hey guys what all do / would I need to change my 6 speed into a auto??

TO MUCH FORD POWER!
2002 chevy Dmax PPE hot+2
1995 Power stroke .SD swap
Rangers lead the way

i would start with an auto donor truck. that would make things go much better!!!!

USAF TSGT Retired "Medically"

99.5 CCSB 4x4 built motor and BTS
99.5 EX Cab Long bed with mild mods and BTS

Donor truck would probably be the easiest way to go about it.

Or fine someone around you that wants to swap for a manual.

You will need a list of things

Flex plat
Adapter plat to go between the motor and transmission
A 4r100 tranny with transfer case
New steering column
Ether new wiring for the truck or a PCS controller, I would go with the PCS controller.

And im sure there are some other little things I'm missing.

Instrument cluster...

And, I second the PCS. It would be a considerably easier than fooling with the factory harness and YOU can set the tranny's shifting the way YOU want.

yeah i just need/ want to do it to be faster and to no have to worry about shifting and watch the truck
